Frequently Asked Questions:
Self-Publication

How can I self-publish my book?

Many reputuable, valuable, well-written books were self-published. If this is the best choice for you, I recommend the following vendors:

1) Layout and ISBN number: Jim Weems at AdGraphics:800-368-6196

2) Cover design: Terry Dale, Graphic Artist (formerly with the Washington Post): 407-898-1930

3) Printing: Melody Morris, Central Plains Book Manufacturing: 877-278-2726

4) Warehouse for storage and fulfillment: QP Distribution: 888-281-5170

Self-publication requires communication and coordination between various vendors, including the author. These people have all worked together before, and know how to coordinate services, which saves you time and money, and prevents mistakes. They are all considerate, responsive, and highly skilled. The best first contact with each of them is via phone.

There are, of course, many other choices for self-publishing.
